St. Josephs Primary School, Bageshwar
Saint Joseph Primary School is established in the year 2016. The President of St. Alphonsus Education Society Bareilly in the annual general body meeting decided to open new school at Bageshwar . The name of school was also decided in the same meeting .On 12th of January Fr. Maurice Desa was appointed first Principal of the school .On 14thJanuary 2016 Most Rev. Bishop IgnatiusD’soza, President of St. Alphosus education society, together with Most Rev. Anthony Fernandes Bishop Emeritus visited site to install the first principal and workout the modalities of starting the school by April 2016.
In the same year 15th of February initial plan to start Nursery, lower K.G. and Upper K.G was finalized. At this time a suitable rented building was hired for a year near the site of present school. With support of local people initial hurdle were overcome and school admission began in March.
Everything we know about the husband of Mary and the foster father of Jesus comes from Scripture and that has seemed too little for those who made up legends about him. Despite his humble work and means, Joseph came from a royal lineage. Luke and Matthew disagree some about the details of Joseph's genealogy but they both mark his descent from David, the greatest king of Israel (Matthew 1:1-16 and Luke 3:23-38). Indeed the angel who first tells Joseph about Jesus greets him as "son of David," a royal title used also for Jesus.
